Acheleia is a village in the Paphos District of Cyprus, located near to Paphos International Airport. A water canal runs through the village. There are three churches at the village. Agios Georgios Church (16the century), Agios Theodosios Church (13th century) and Agios Leontios Church (13th Century). Its close enough to Paphos to enjoy all the city amenities but just far enough allowing for a more quiet and less busy experience Paphos is a pictuesque cosmopolitan holiday resort with spectacular countryside nearby, and many fascinating historical sites.
