The village of Kissonerga is a coastal area located half the way between the town of Paphos and Coral Bay. It is a region notable for the cultivation of banana plantations. It enjoys all amenities of a modern city while it has several known beaches including Potima where the new Paphos Marina will be built. Along the coast road are several hotels, mini-markets, numerous bars and taverns, as well as small complexes of shops mainly catering for tourists.
